Bio:

Dr. Michele Ryan is an Assistant Professor and Departmental Program Director for the Business Administration and Marketing Department within the College of Business. She also serves as Program Director for the MBA program.

Dr. Ryan earned her DBA from George Fox University, her MBA from the University of St. Francis, and her MA and BA in Public Communication from Western Illinois University. Her research focuses on emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, perceived employability, and the factors that contribute to student and professional success.

In addition to her teaching, research, and administrative leadership, Dr. Ryan serves as a co-faculty sponsor of the Women in Business student organization. Prior to joining the faculty full time, she spent 15 years as Director of Admission for the Graduate School of Management in the College of Business. In that role, she led graduate recruitment and marketing initiatives, managed budgeting and enrollment-related operations, and worked closely with prospective students throughout the admissions process. This experience continues to inform her approach to graduate business education, program leadership, and student success.
