JJC 3+1 Criminal Justice Degree Program
Joliet Junior College (JJC) students can now earn their associate's degree from JJC and their Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University in just four years.
Degree Format
This 120 credit hour program includes 90 credit hours of JJC coursework and 30 credit hours of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University coursework. Upon completion of the program, you will receive your associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Joliet Junior College (JJC)  and your Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University.
Curriculum Pathway
The student completes 68 hours of coursework at JJC to fulfill the requirements for the AA in Criminal Justice or the Law Enforcement AAS at JJC.
Upon completion, the student blends 22 credit hours of additional JJC courses with 24 hours of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Criminal Justice coursework and 6 hours of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Mission courses with Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå faculty.
Discounted Tuition
The 90 credit hours of JJC coursework will be completed at JJC tuition rates. The final 30 hours will be paid through Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, at a significantly reduced tuition rate.
Who can enroll in the program?
- Students who have completed an Associate in Arts degree in Criminal Justice at JJC.
- Students who have completed an Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice at JJC and take the necessary additional general education coursework to earn an Associates of Arts or Science.
- New students to JJC who indicate their intent to enter the 3+1 program.
- Students can apply for admission to Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå when they are six months away from completing their associate degree.
