GAME SUMMARY
The Flyers got off to a rough start both offensively and defensively in the contest getting outscored 30-14 by Wayne State in the first quarter. The first Flyer point came from the free throw line with a one for two trip by Gugliuzza. Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå built a small run with more Gugliuzza free throws, a jumper by Nunnally and a layup by  (Moline, Ill./Illinois Central College). The final basket of the quarter came right before the buzzer out of the hand of Badali for a layup to send Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå into the second quarter.

Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå outscored the Warriors 11-9 in the second quarter, with the first three points coming off free throws from Cesarini and Badali. Badali would flush home a mid-range jumper followed by a layup from Gugliuzza. Badali hit two more free throws with  (Winnipeg, Canada/D'Youville) getting extended minutes and throwing down a layup.

Gugliuzza started the second half off with a layup followed soon after by McNamee with one of her own. Gugliuzza went for five straight with the teams first three and two free throws on the next trip down the floor.

Badali would have a perfect trip to the bread line to put two more on the board.  (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) had a nice jumper, a three and a free throw to make it 59-42 at the end of the third.

Five free throws in a row would mark the first points in the fourth quarter for the Flyers. Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå continued to battle through out the remainder of the contest with layups and free throws. The last points of the Flyers 2024-2025 season came from a Gugliuzza three and the match would conclude with a score of 77-57 Wayne State.

The Flyers finish their season with a GLVC Regular Season Championship, a 26-4 overall record, The GLVC Player of the Year and five GLVC All-Team Selections.
