PATHWAY PROGRAMS WITH MVCC

Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University and Moraine Valley Community College offer streamlined pathways that allow students to begin their studies at MVCC and complete a bachelor’s degree at Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University in engineering or cybersecurity.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

  • AES Associate in Engineering Science to BS in Computer Engineering

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

  • AES Associate in Engineering Science to BS in Electrical Engineering

Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

  • AAS Degree in Cybersecurity to BS in Cybersecurity

INSTRUCTION LOCATION

Engineering 2+2 Pathways
Students complete approximately the first two years of coursework at MVCC, including the Associate in Engineering Science degree, then transition to Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University to complete upper-level coursework in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Cybersecurity 3+1 Pathway
Students complete approximately the first three years of coursework through MVCC before completing the remaining Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University requirements for the B.S. in Cybersecurity.
Courses are completed through a combination of MVCC and Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, depending on the selected pathway and year of study. Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå courses may be offered online or at Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University’s Romeoville campus.

AFFORDABLE PATHWAY TO A BACHELOR’S DEGREE

Students complete a significant portion of their degree at MVCC tuition rates before transitioning to Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University. Eligible students receive a discounted Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University tuition rate for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå portion of the program.

Upon completion of all degree requirements, students earn an associate degree from Moraine Valley Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University.
