For Graduating Students - Transfer Data to Personal Account

With graduation right around the corner, we would like to send out a reminder to recent and upcoming graduates about our Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University student account retention policy
12 months after graduation or last enrollment in a course, your Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå student account is deactivated and you no longer have access.

What you’ll lose access to:

  • @lewisu.edu Google account (Gmail, Drive, Photos), Blackboard, Microsoft 365, MyÂé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå portal, and other services.

What to do prior to account deactivation:

  • Use to export your Google data for archiving and/or use to transfer your Gmail and Google Drive data to a personal Gmail account. Instructions on using Google Takeout are available .

  • Update your email address to a personal address on key services, some examples of which include:
    • (you can make payments to your student account without being logged in using )
    • Banks/Credit Cards/Financial Institutions
    • Streaming Services
    • For alumni:

This is not an exhaustive list.  Please review and update all systems and services that are linked to your Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå student email address.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå maintains this policy to improve security, reduce the risk of unauthorized access to university systems, and provide equitable access and long-term sustainability of our services.
