For Graduating Students - Transfer Data to Personal Account
With graduation right around the corner, we would like to send out a reminder to recent and upcoming graduates about our Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University student account retention policy.
12 months after graduation or last enrollment in a course, your Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå student account is deactivated and you no longer have access.
What you’ll lose access to:
- @lewisu.edu Google account (Gmail, Drive, Photos), Blackboard, Microsoft 365, MyÂ鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå portal, and other services.
What to do prior to account deactivation:
- Use to export your Google data for archiving and/or use to transfer your Gmail and Google Drive data to a personal Gmail account. Instructions on using Google Takeout are available .
- Update your email address to a personal address on key services, some examples of which include:
- (you can make payments to your student account without being logged in using )
- Banks/Credit Cards/Financial Institutions
- Streaming Services
- For alumni:
This is not an exhaustive list. Please review and update all systems and services that are linked to your Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå student email address.
